a very successful cruise went down thisafternoon with the stereo bumping finer than ever before. plan on louder and better tunes each week from now on. new albums on earjuice and new media on the way.

tomorrow morning is the los angeles marathon, and it heads right down gower. phlip has the perfect view for the streetcleaner acrobatics show afterwards. come by early and bring cocktails. the number of neighbors increased, and there is more rocking and more knocking to come.

sittin' on gower on the roof in lawn chairs at sunset. got six new speakers, but they still need installation. once it gets bumpin' it's time for a earjuice promotional cruise. front door and electrics are top priority now.

after a brief stint at chester's warehouse for the holidays, phlip is back on gower in hollywood. a few new grease pen tags on the windows appeared the other night. street cleaning is the new enemy.

phlip is in hollywoodland now. it took a short day trip into the police inpound on sunday, thanks to the parking enforcement. then spent some hours at a gas station trying to get a decent jump from a big enough battery. for now, it sits in it's shady spot on fountain by gower. ah... home.

rolled back to l.a. just fine. slow over the grapevine, but that's when the c.b. radio comes in handy; thanks truckers! the exhuast manifold is loose and other parts leaking, so that is next on the list of things to repair. still in northridge right now, heading to the old hood, the hollywood, soon.

emergency brake cable is back in and transmission adjusted. went for a spin down to davis, and she runs really strong. over 60 on flat ground! woohoo! headed down to l.a. via fresno in the next week.

someone tagged phlip with some paintballs. although it was nice of them to only hit windows, the colour was kind of nice, and looks goood with the paint. also ran across these guys. phlip would feel right at home there. the emergency brake cable will be ready on monday, then it's hollywood ho!

yesterday, the beast went out for a little adventure. went to a place to find a replacement front door, but they didn't have one the right size. guess it's gunna need a custom weld job anyway. phlip is still covered in playa dust, so then it took a bath at a carwash. while it was there, the emergency brake cable broke. so it looks like it'll be in sacramento for a few more days while that gets fixed... also the allison automatic transmission is shifting funny since the rebuild, so it needs a little tune-up. if it ain't one thing, it's another. but that's how it's always been.
